Diana Saxby of Grace the Day is one of the country's leading
independent civil celebrants. Trained, registered, experienced and dedicated
full time to her work, she is available seven days a week for weddings, vow
renewals, civil partnerships, naming ceremonies and celebrations of life
(funerals) in the south of England and the Cotswolds.
The most important feature of Grace the Day is Diana Saxby
herself. Passionate and determined to offer a unique, achingly romantic and
sophisticated service to complement her own personal style, her
professionalism and desire to be as straightforward as possible with her
clients means that she likes to keep her fee structure transparent: her
all-inclusive fee covers everything, including unlimited script amendments,
travel and mileage and a full rehearsal beforehand.
Diana's background is in the legal profession and Public
Relations and this has developed her innate skills in working harmoniously
with people to achieve their dreams, being calm and dignified at all times,
and exuding warmth, patience and gentle humour. Her professionalism, being a
recommended supplier at some of the country's most exclusive wedding venues,
and the backing of a highly efficient and organised team means Diana attracts
mainly high-end and overseas clientele. She specialises in outdoor ceremonies
and Black Tie wedding ceremonies.
Offering a personal service to each client is vital to Grace
the Day's ethos, and Diana's full-time devotion to her business means that not
only can clients contact her at any time, by telephone, email or Skype, but
also that the ceremony can take place at any time, on any day of the week,
with no restrictions on time of day, or location.
She brings her own personality and enthusiasm to each
ceremony, and her ceremonies are tailored to the requirements of the couple
whilst maintaining her own high standards of elegance and grace.
"Many thanks indeed for
helping us make our wedding celebration so special, personal and meaningful.
Arranging a wedding from afar can be challenging, and it gave us great comfort
to be working with someone so professional, experienced and committed to their
work as you. Some people are very lucky to be both great at what they do, and
happy doing it. You very much gave us the impression of both, and we hope you
continue to help other couples stop, pause and realise the importance and
beauty of their commitment - Helen and Tony, Hong Kong"
"We needed someone to conduct
our Kenwood House wedding and from the moment I spoke to Diana I knew I had
found the right person, she was so wonderfully warm and helpful on the phone
and she put together the most beautiful ceremony which could not have been
more perfect. On the day itself Diana was so professional and was a beacon of
calm amongst the chaos of preparation! She was just a wonderful presence to
have throughout the wedding, not just on the day but in the lead up to the
event. She was always available for discussion via phone or email and was
happy to come up to London for several meetings, nothing seemed too much
trouble for her. We also had lots of lovely feedback from our guests saying
how much they had enjoyed the ceremony and that Diana had conducted it with
grace, warmth and humour. We have only positive things to say about Diana and
would have no hesitation in recommending her - Simon and Fran"
Celebration of Life Testimonials
is just to say thank you. We all thought the service went so well, and a
number of those attending commented very favourably on how it was conducted
(considering the average age of attendees and their general adherence to
traditional ways of doing things, this was a triumph in itself!). I thought it
was the simplest and most apt ceremony I have ever attended and am very
grateful to you for your crucial contribution - Geoff"
"On behalf of the family I
should like to thank you most sincerely for compiling and taking such an
inspiring Celebration of Ann's Life service yesterday. Several people came up
to me and said how much they had appreciated the personal touches which you
had introduced. How Ann would have enjoyed the spontaneous chuckles of humour
from the congregation! - Gwynneth"
"Thank you kindly for making
Friday what it was - a truly memorable funeral for the family - which, with
close to 200 mourners, might have been chaos but for the calm manner the
actual service took - Alan Rice - Tapper Funeral Service"
