County Celebrants Network brings experienced celebrants together to share standards, support one another and give families confidence when choosing someone for life's most important moments.
Why we began
Professional help, with a human touch.
The Network was set up to help people find professional, experienced support at times when the right words — and the right person — really matter.
Our celebrants work independently, but they do not work alone. Membership creates a trusted professional community where knowledge is shared, standards are taken seriously and every ceremony remains personal to the family or couple at its heart.
We also provide practical training for people who want to use their own life and professional experience to become a celebrant.

Eric Gill leads the Network's celebrant training. Courses are practical and personal, covering ceremony writing, confident delivery and working sensitively with families, funeral directors and venues.
Good celebrants listen first. The words and confidence come from understanding the people in front of you.
